New Art Style Incoming!


It's time for an update!

First off, Spore Valley is mostly finished gameplay development. The last things remaining for me to implement are a few difficulty modifiers, controller support, and tutorials - and of course, playtesting never ends! Recent playtests have already suggested to me that the gameplay is solid, and I've spent a lot of time in the past month improving the UI in various ways to try to address some of the clarity issues playtesters were experiencing on their first try.

Beyond that, the game has also been completely revamped in a new pixel art style courtesy of professional artist James Green. It looks great! I'm working on creating key art for Itch (and soon Steam!), and soon after that I'll be taking some promotional screenshots to round out the game's store pages.

I've also got exciting information about the game's musical future, but that will have to wait for now!
